You can practically see all of the important places in Paris from anywhere you stand. Most of the accommodations that you will find near the Eiffel tower are the hotels. There are a few of the French villa rentals that you can get for the whole family. The tip here is: the nearer you get to the tower, the more expensive the accommodation will be. There are also French apartment vacations that you can get if you want to stay for the summer and you’ll never have to pay more than a week’s worth of hotel stay.

But you should also consider moving out of the city a little bit. If you’re there during the winter season, French Alps skiing resorts are the places that you should visit. These towns have great spas that are both therapeutic and relaxing. Summer is also great in these places as you’ll experience hiking and great mountain bike routes. You should also consider going to the more silent part of France. Look for the available French farm rentals and you’ll have the experience the ways of the rural folks in France. This may not be appealing to some but you have to remember that all of the French wine and French cheese in France doesn’t come from the city but they all come from the farms of France. Be sure to visit the winery and cheese making facilities. These places can get very silent at night as the people retire for another working day.

All in all, not only the great Eiffel tower should be visited but other parts of France as well. You can never know what France really is if you haven’t visit this places in France for your summer or winter vacation.
